The Office of Research & Development's VA Research Currents website features an article about a recent VA project highlighting the relationship among traumatic brain injury (TBI), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and seizures. Science Daily's article entitled Seizures and Epilepsy: A Significant Burden on Veterans highlights three new studies that expose the high prevalence of epilepsy and other neurological disorders in US Veterans who served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.
