We function as a center of excellence in research, education and clinical care activities in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. The center is located in the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. The ECoE provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for Veterans with seizure disorders. Treatment options include antiepileptic drugs, epilepsy surgery, and neuro- stimulation. Our facility includes a two-bed monitoring unit located on the Inpatient Neurology Service. State of the art long-term video EEG equipment is used for continuous EEG recording.
